- Complete the entry test. Applicants need to pass a test before joining the program.
- Sign an exclusive copyright agreement. Successful applicants are required to sign an exclusive contract.
- Work from the supplied outline. Use the provided storylines and characters, adapting names, places, and scenes to local customs. The published program allows creative freedom for 30% of a chapter, provided the writing does not deviate from the outline.
- Follow editorial guidance. Study the provided material and follow the editor’s writing and revision instructions. Refusal to make requested revisions may result in cancellation of bonuses.
- Keep to the update schedule. Follow the agreed chapter frequency and word count. NovelClub determines whether to complete the novel based on promotion and operating results, and participating writers are expected to accept that decision.
